There are a lot of instances where you encounter designers who don't know how to code. It is not really necessary for them to know coding. However, designers that know how to code also know how big of an advantage it is!
So, should designers learn how to code? And what are these advantages I mentioned before?
But first, let’s clear it up. When I asked if designers should learn coding, it is not equivalent to when someone asked if designers need to learn coding. Technically speaking, you don’t need to code when creating a design, especially when you are more focused on graphic design. But why should you learn it?
